Can I use an external list of customers in a Dialogue?

SCENARIO: I’ve been given an excel file containing a list of customers from an external source, can i use this list of customers to target in my dialogue?

ANSWER: Yes, absolutely! Simply follow the  document.

Help! Where did all my messages go?

SCENARIO: I’ve executed my dialogue and it shows me that all of the email and SMS messages have been sent, however none of my customers have actually received any messages.

ANSWER: In 100% of the cases where this question has been posed, the missing messages have been found in the message outbox. This is because the use outbox check box has been left ticked – which is great for during the testing stage, but come time to execute can hold things up.

How do I send a follow-up email to customers that have clicked on a link within my original email?

SCENARIO: I need to send a follow-up email only to those customers that have clicked on the “find out more” button in my email.

ANSWER: You will need to create a new selection that picks up members that have clicked on a particular link. Then you will need to create a divide operation within your dialogue to separate those that have and have not clicked on that link.
